It is no surprise to any of the people who at least know what fashion is that the clothes that people wear are usually very symbolic.
Clothing is an easy and beneficial way to show someone your occupation or your choice of music.
In a research that Professor Karen J Pine made, "The Effect of Appearance on First Impressions" it was revealed that people are greatly judged, as first impressions go, through their overall head-to-toe appearance. That even mirror adjustments such as dress cut ,style and even accessories can affect the whole idea and the person wearing it.
" A person’s way of dress has a considerable effect on his mood as well as behavior."
The symbolism of clothing is another part of delivering the message that a person tries to put into it.
A symbol can be a item a character or belief .It strongly express feeling to a certain point of view but a certain symbol can have a lot of interpretation based on the viewer like a person wearing a certain style or way of clothing it will depend with the person viewing you with how they will react on you.
Most of us have our so called "lucky charm " we sometimes tend to wear a particular clothing that gives a certain meaning or value to us that's tends to make us in a happy mood.
Multiple studies along the years, have in fact shown that one’s clothing may even change self perception, which will in turn influence occupational attributes such as:
- responsibility
- competence
- professionalism
- reliability
- trustworthiness
- willingness and
- efficiency
Psychological effects of wearing a particular type of clothing everyday eventually wear off and stop affecting us?- competence
- professionalism
- reliability
- trustworthiness
- willingness and
- efficiency
This blogpost reacts with my past blogpost regarding the ways of people and people particularly .
But we tend to rely with the things that we think gives us luck without having trust with our own self.
As what the quote of Bette David said
“It's better to be hated for who you are, than to be loved for someone you're not. ”
